STORM 8th GRADE PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT

Idaysia Mercer, Jasper #21

DaDa has progress at a significant pace from last season.  DaDa is a 7th grader playing up one level.

With limited practice at the beginning of the season due to her HS season playing as a 7th grade guard on Jasper HS Varsity the whole season, she was able to grasp our offense and return to last years form very quickly.

Others of Note:  Katlyn (Smiley) Hollingsworth #12 (Pelham), Kenzie Matuszak #3 (Oak Mt)

STORM 8th GRADE PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT

Nora Breedlove, #11 (Chelsea) &  Katlyn (Smiley) Hollingsworth, #12 (Pelham)

Nora proved in Guntersville that hard work throughout practice pays off.  Nora experienced her first start for this team. One of more to come.

Smiley was solid in her development in our offense.  It is complicated and very demanding on a point guard.  Smiley was up for the challenge.  Her four 3-point shots didn't hurt none either.  Great Job ladies!
